The Presidential Suite has a hall, lounge - dinning room, 2 bedrooms with its own bathrooms, one of them has a large whirlpool tub. The sitting room has a nice fireplace. The surface of this suite is 130 sq.m.
The style is shown in its walls covered with coordinated wallpaper and fabrics, matching with the curtains, bedspreads and with the fabrics dressing the tables and chairs. Comfortable beds with sommiers and English country style furniture complete the room's decoration. The bathrooms are also very cozy with walls covered with a mirror, wallpaper and the shower curtains are made of fabric coordinated with the room's decor. All the rooms have towel robes on request.
Given the external extension of the building and its unconventional shape, all the rooms are different for the tourist since their shape and color of decor change from one to the other and the view they offer varies from the Beagle Channel, the attraction of Ushuaia's bay and the view of the Andes covered by snow. Bed linen and towels are 100% cotton imported from Portugal. Blankets are 100% wool.
RESTAURANT: For you dinning experience there is the Martial restaurant serving seafood with a seating area that can accommodate 110 people, with a generous view of the Beagle Channel.
For breakfast and light meals enjoy a more informal option The Drake restaurant that can extend in to the winter garden, with natural vegetation.
MEETING FACILITIES: Conventions, incentives and banquets have their place at LAS HAYAS. They are equipped with Shelby Williams chairs, King Arthur folding tables oval, rectangular and seminar size, and King Arthur wood dancing floor.
The Main Conference / Banquet room, The Millenium Room (first used on the night of December 31st 1999 with the presence of Eleonora Cassano, Julio Bocca and the Ballet Argentino) measures 30 x 21 meters with large windows all along the 30 meters that have a view to the Beagle Channel and 21 meters of windows looking the forest that surrounds the hotel. Its maximum height is of 6 meters. This room has a capacity of 800 / 1000 people in auditorium and 500 people in a Banquet shape with dance floor.
The Millenium Room is equipped with a Videoconference system through ISDN at 128 kbps.
Another large Convention Room is the Salon Verde, seating 330 people in auditorium and 200 people in a banquet with oval tables for 10 people each. This room can be divided into two separate rooms seating 150 people each.
The Salón Celeste seats up to 100 people in auditorium and 55 people in "school" shape.
Small meetings can be held at the Salón Escocés seating 60 people in auditorium and 40 people in "school" type. Beside and connecting this room there is a smaller room for meetings of 15 / 20 people.
The Salón Gris and Salón Rosado, give the possibility of simultaneous meetings of 45 people (each) in auditorium and / or 28 people around a rectangular shape meeting table.
Even though the hotel is at the last boundary of the earth, it is connected with the rest of the world by ten telephone lines with International Direct Dial and by fax. Through color television and satellite antenna the hotel receives T.V. signs from Europe and the United States. The Convention Rooms have the possibility of connecting direct telephone lines to each of them without connecting through the hotel's telecom system.
