ACCOMMODATION: The Orquideas Inn features 19 spacious rooms, 6 unique suites and a 2 bedroom Geodesic Dome for families and groups. Our rooms are beautifully decorated reflecting the soothing pastels and vibrant hues of the tropics. Many of the rooms and suites have fantastic views of the mountains, volcanoes and surrounding countryside, all have air conditioning, ceiling fans, and many have satellite television.

STANDARD ROOM - Conveniently located near pool and main building and surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. They comfortably sleep up to 4 people and are decorated in a Spanish hacienda style with vibrant colors of green, orange, yellow, and terracotta. They feature rustic handcrafted Costa Rican wood furniture including small table and chairs and colorful Guatemalan bedspreads.

ROADSIDE - 5 rooms (1double, 1single), 1 room (1double, 2 singles) located on side of building facing privacy wall and tropical trees.

GARDEN SIDE - 6 rooms same as roadside, except located on opposite side facing tropical gardens.

POOL SUITE - Spacious room with private doors to pool and orchid patio. It features 2 queen beds, sitting area, satellite TV, and large bath with tub and separate shower. It is decorated in handcrafted Costa Rican wood furniture and painted in the traditional deep blue and white of Costa Rica.

GEODESIC DOME - Unique free standing 2 bedroom dome nestled in seclusion in our tropical gardens, yet conviently located to the pool and main area. Soaring domed ceiling and 4 skylights provide a light airy living space. Decorated in soothing greens, blues, and whites. Main level features: Master Bedroom with king bed, bathroom with sunken tile tub and shower, kitchenette, and living area with satellite TV. Spiral staircase leads to the loft which has 1 double and 1 single bed. Perfect for families, small groups, or extended stays.

THE UPPER VILLA - Situated on the highest part of the grounds a short walk from the main area. All the rooms and suites in the upper villa have fantastic views of the volcanoes, mountains, and surrounding countryside. The villa is surrounded by gardens teeming with exotic flowers and tropical plants such as bougainvillea, ginger, star fruit, etc.

DELUXE ROOMS - 7 spacious rooms with 2 double beds, decorated in soothing pastels with bamboo furniture including small table and chairs. Large bath with double sinks and a ceramic tile shower. All rooms feature window walls on 2 sides and sliding door wall opening to a deck or balcony with great Mountain and Volcano views, some with satellite TV.

SUPERIOR ROOM - 1 room decorated the same as the deluxe rooms but it is larger with king bed and sitting area.

SUSAN'S ROOM - Beautiful room with private balcony overlooking Poas Volcano, decorated in pastels with double bed, rosewood floors, bamboo furniture, large bath with tile shower and satellite TV.

DARLYS SUNSET SUITE - Large suite with king bed, sitting area, vaulted ceilings, rosewood floor and large bath with double sinks and tile shower. Decorated in pastels with bamboo furniture and satellite TV. Relax on the beautiful private wraparound balcony and experience Costa Ricas spectacular sunsets

MOUNTAIN VIE W SUITE - Very spacious Deluxe Suite with private balcony and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and volcanoes. King bed with sitting area and satellite TV. Decorated in pastels with hand carved hardwood furniture, vaulted ceilings, rosewood parquet floors and master bath with double sinks, large tile shower and raised whirlpool tub overlooking the countryside.

BOUGAINVILLEA APARTMENT - Living room with kitchenette, tile floors and satellite TV. Separate bedroom with Queen Bed. Decorated in soothing green pastels with handcrafted wood furniture. Great for family or extended stay.
